How to fix this error: "cannot find avd system path. please define android_sdk_root"

Hello everyone, i'm back here. This is urgent situation!!!!!! When I am creating an AVD version 8.0, I am having big trouble with the error: "cannot find avd system path. please define android_sdk_root" Emulator: PANIC: Cannot find AVD system path. Please define ANDROID_SDK_ROOT I tried to solve it using past answers found on this site, but none of them worked. I tried defining the AVD path in the system settings as well, but it didn't work either. I'm using Android Studio 3.0 and the AVD 8.0 (Oreo) system image (API level 26). If anyone knows how to fix this error, please help me. Thank you very much!!!

The cause:

As I discovered after reading your question, I found that this problem happens because you do not have a legitimate virtual device with SDK downloaded in the Action column.

Solution:

Select 'My Computer'-> 'Properties' ->'Advance System Settings' -> 'Environment Variables' -> 'System Variables' -> add "ANDROID SDK ROOT" or "ANDROID HOME" and set the path of your AVD inside this.

Restart your computer after that. If you don't restart your computer, it simply will not work.
