Light is described as being comprised from elementary particle. These elementary particles are referred to as “photons”. The energy of these photons is dependent on their frequency and , consequently, the wavelength (Since the frequency multiplied by wavelength is equal to the speed of wave which is a constant). On the other hand, the concept of duality between wave and particle has established that each particle can be described as an ‘wave. So, the energy, acceleration of a particle may be described as a function of a parameter in the wave it’s corresponding to.
