I get the “compilation failed; see the compiler error output for details.” issue when trying to compile build.xml file for my project. Here is the detail of the error I got the error message:

The cause: This can be a a compile error that occurred earlier during the build.
Solution: You should check the output log file for that error and make an effort to fix it.
Use the below command to see the log for compiled errors:
This will create a log in your check-out directory. Now you can see the actual errors.
