I am working on programs, but I found the following warning message
Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known"
Is there any way to stabilize the issue “connection attempt failed with “eai_noname – neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known”.”?
I read a lot of topics about this, but all of them were trying to install anything. Is this the correct way, or any recommendation for me?
This error also occurred to me. My domain name was xxx.yyy.com. Cpanel ftp configuration showed me that the ftp server was http://ftp.xxx.yyy.com. Fillzilla could not connect to this server and gave me this error.
I used IP address instead of http://ftp.xxx.yyy.com for my ftp host
It is a Name resolution error. Your domain name is incorrect. You can correct spelling errors or use the IP address. To find the IP address of your server, you can use
to ping mydomain.com
from Windows. Most likely, you are using GoDaddy or another similar service with cPanel setup. This error is common in my case and I can’t “correctly FTP” my domain using GoDaddy.
This is the only way I have been able to fix it (strangely or stupidly). You can use your custom IP address and , NOT your
domain.com
,FTP.domain.com
, or domain IP address.Copy your cPanel URL to your cPanel FT page:

Either use the
abcabc123123.prod.ph12.secureserver.net
as your FTP domain, OR get your cPanel IP address via ping:
