I get the ”git lfs is not a git command” error when I enter in my command window

The cause: This error happens because git version 1.8.2 or later is necessary for git-lfs. Run
git —versionto see what version you have and upgrade if necessary.Solution: You should download git-lfs on your machine.
Download git-lfs with following the steps based on your operating system.
Debian / Ubuntu
MacOS
Windows
Download and run the latest windows installer.
Finally, install
git-lfsby runninggit-lfs installon your system. You can always rungit-lfs uninstallto uninstall.
