    I encountered the same problem before and i resolved it as follow

    • When using Windows: Shift + Alt + F
    • When using Mac: Shift + Option + F
    • When using Ubuntu: Ctrl + Shift + I

    The code formatting is available in Visual Studio Code through the following 
    shortcuts:

    On Windows : Shift + Alt + F
