♦ Relevant knowledge

The relationship between current, voltage and resistance is described by the law of Ohm’s. The equation i = v/r states that the amount of currentthat flows through the circuit directly proportional the voltage v, and in turn, inversely proportional to the resistance r. That is If we increase the voltage then the current will rise. However, if we increase the resistance then the current decreases.

    The capacitor behaves immediately after the switch is closed. The voltage across resistor is epsilon.
