Magnitude of current refers to the amount of charge that flows at a specific point.This simplifies the notion of Direct and Alternating currents (A.C as well as D.C).As we are aware, the graph of Alternating Current is pulsing, so its magnitude will change every now and then, which implies that the amount of charge flowing is changing.But in the Direct Current graph it is described as linear and therefore the size of D.Current remains the same.
