Could you share some tips about lsof kill port. Someone suggested some samples but it does not work for me.

Ideas for kill port lsof : Use the kill command conjunction using the lsof (list of open files) command to stop a any process that is listening to a certain port. The lsof command allows us to determine which process is listening on the port in question. Simply send the output of the lsof operation to the kill command.

    I hope this helps

    #First run this, to get port information (with the port you want to kill)
sudo lsof -i :3000 
​
#Then run this, with <PID> replaced by the value in the column returned by previous command.
kill -9 <PID>
