How to select multiple lines in vs code?

I am trying to select multiple lines in vs code but it seems it is not the best way yet. Can someone share with me your experience?

Windows: Ctrl + Alt + Arrow Keys.
Linux: Shift + Alt + Arrow Keys.
Mac: Opt + Cmd + Arrow Keys.
