Hi everyone, I’m learning about programs. While working, I try to start virtual machine. As a result, I get the message:

The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file
  
  Cannot open the disk 'C:\Users\t825665\VM's\VPC\Windows 10 x64.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
  
  Module 'Disk' power on failed.
  
  Failed to start the virtual machine.

What can I do about the “the process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file” issue? Is there a better approach?

    The cause:

    This error often occurs when the host computer loses power while the virtual machine is running.

    Solution:

    You can solve this error by making a backup and relocating the ‘lck’ files from your VM’s directory (*.lck) to a different location, then eliminating them from the VM’s directory. After that, the virtual machine will be simply restarted.

  2. This error can be fixed by going to virtual O’s directory. Please delete all files with an “.lck extension.”
