I am having an “{“message”: “Missing Authentication Token”}” error. I really need your help.
When I try to set up new endpoints using API Gateway, I run into one issue: I can’t reach my new endpoint over the internet. This is the JSON that was received from my endpoint:
{
"message": "Missing Authentication Token"
}
I don’t know how can I fix this error. I eagerly await your suggestions in this situation.
Cause
The error “”message”: “Missing Authentication Token”” might have a variety of causes. However, the first cause you should consider is Forgetting to Deploy.
Solution
If you just test your endpoint in the console and see the desired results without implementing your changes, you will never be able to see your API in the real world. Using Gateway’s built-in deployment functionality, you can publish new changes to the Internet.
As shown in the picture above, go to your API and choose the Actions tab. When you click Deploy API, you’ll be sent to the configuration method.
If you’ve already built up stages, deploy to one of them; if you haven’t, build one with whatever name you choose. If you’d like, you may leave a message, but otherwise you’re ready deploy.
Remember that you must redeploy your API after each modification to ensure that those changes are published to the Internet.
I hope that by doing so, you’ll be able to solve your problem.
