The error “type error list indices must be integers or slices not str” occurred and I am still stuck with it. Your guidance will be much appreciated. Thanks community.

  1. Maybe not the best solution, but it works.

    train['date1'] = train['ID'].apply(lambda x: datetime.strptime(x, '%Y%m%d%H'))
