Here is a code for the programs, and for some strange reason, I got the warning text:

Unchecked runtime.lastError: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist

Even though I copied some suggestion codes, it does not work. What can I do for the unchecked runtime. Lasterror: could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist. Issue? Is there a better approach?

    The cause: This error usually happens because of a trouble with a specific Chrome extension inside your main document.

    Solution: Look closely at the following syntax that contains the necessary code. This syntax wraps the syntax for the sending request. Let us now learn about the receiving end.

    chrome.tabs.query({active: true, currentWindow: true}, function(tabs) {
      chrome.tabs.sendMessage(tabs[0].id, {greeting: “hello”}, function(response) {
        if (!chrome.runtime.lastError) {
            // if you have some responses
        } else {
           // if you don't have any response with your document, it’s fine but you should actually resolve
           // it and we are carefully examining chrome.runtime.lastError to do this
        }
      });
    });

    The exact same error was occurring to me, except that my app doesn’t have a back-end or React front-end. I realized it wasn’t my app. It was coming from the Chrome extension “Video Speed Controller”. You can disable all extensions that you don’t use and then turn them on one by one.
