The process of DNA replication involves the process of creating by combining identical DNA within an uni-stranded double-stranded DNA. Each molecule is comprised of a strand formed from the original molecule as well as an entirely new one. Prior to replication, the DNA breaks and the strand is uncoupled. A replication branch is created to serve as a model for replication. Primers bind DNA, and DNA polymerase creates new nucleotide sequences that are in the 5′-3 direction. This is a continuous process in the conductive fiber , but is broken up in the fiber that is lagging. After elongating all DNA strands, they are inspected for any errors and repairs are made and telomeres are added both ends of DNA.

    →Primase –> DNA poly –> X initiate

    → 5′–>3′ [Leading]

    → Lagging [3′–>5′]–> DNA –> Okazaki–> Ligase
