How do I write a python program to compute the distance between the points x 1 y 1 and x 2 y 2 the values of the points are given by the user? Your suggestions would help me a lot.

♦ Suggestions of ITtutoria Team
Python can be used to create a program for calculating distance between two points. It’s easy to create a program that computes the distance between the user-defined points, which are given by x1 and y1.

    You could consider my suggestion here

    import math.
    def calculateDistance(x1,y1,x2,y2):
    dist = math.sqrt((x2 - x1)**2 + (y2 - y1)**2)
    return dist.
    print calculateDistance(x1, y1, x2, y2)
