Anyone who’s anyone in the country music game has a house in Brentwood, and Carrie was fortunate enough to call it her home for over a decade. Join us as we take an in-depth look at Carrie’s impressive mansion where she was neighbors with country music royalty.

Glitz and glamor

Carrie would be the first person to acknowledge that she’s been blessed with not just amazing vocals but also luxuries that most of us can’t afford. Her estate in Brentwood takes up 7.083 square feet of land. The ceilings of her home emphasize spaciousness, producing a feeling of grandeur the moment you step into the home.

Double rows of arched windows add a beautiful touch that boasts an openness that floor-to-ceiling windows could never achieve. The main fireplace irradiates warmth, blanketing Carrie and her lovely family during the lazy hours of Christmas. Everything about her home, from its porch to its master suite, is like a warm bear hug.

Balancing light and darkness

Upon entering the front door of the mansion, you’ll notice that everything in her home screams out “Carrie Underwood.” Everything was designed with simplistic sophistication. Despite nothing being overly decorated, her hardwood floors with marble finishes and crystal chandeliers hanging overhead are indicative of the American Idol winner’s exquisite taste.

The railings of the staircases add a bit of rustic appeal to a home that’s gushing in modern beauty. The all-natural colors of finished wood add a sense of balance to the brightness of the interior décor. If we could use one word to describe this Carrie’s former mega-mansion, it would be “balance.”

A meat-free kitchen

Carrie has called herself a “wannabe vegan” at times, though she doesn’t stick to the strict vegan diet. She’s dabbled in the kitchen with tofurkey, is hooked on Raw Rev bars, and has a special place in her heart for vegan-friendly quesadillas. And while she tries to stay true to a vegan diet, she has a weakness for eggs from her backyard chicken coop.

Apart from the eggs, her kitchen has remained meat-free for as long as anyone can remember. She serves up the best-looking eggs in an earth-toned kitchen, where she experiments with vegetarian-friendly recipes. Carrie’s more than a home cook. She released a cookbook in 2020 titled Find Your Path.

Personal gym

It’s not surprising at all that Carrie had a personal gym inside of her home. However, what is surprising is how uncluttered her gym is. We expected that people as fit as Carrie and her ex-NHL player husband, Mike Fisher, would have all sorts of gym equipment. After all, they’re both always so in shape.

In fact, fitness is more than just a lifestyle. Carrie launched a fitness app, Fit52, in 2020, effectively turning fitness into a tech biz. She leads each fitness session with prerecorded videos that users can follow easily to shape in shape. Now, we can all get a taste of how Carrie and her personal trainer, Eve Overland, maintain their physiques.

Olive green

The olive-green room in Carrie’s former estate really had some wow factor to it. Maybe it’s the lush curtains or the intricate trims on the windows’ edges that make it appear fit for royalty. However, even though she’s a country music princess, Carrie doesn’t have an ounce of royal blood running through her veins. She worked hard from a young age to get to where she is today.

Perhaps that’s what made her an international success. We imagine Carrie spending time in one of her lavish rooms, maybe even the olive-green one, to sit down and pump song after song out that resonated with her loyal fans.

Afternoon sweet tea on the porch

One of the most iconic features of a southern home is the porch. This hallmark fixture is a great way to greet guests and take in the view, all while enjoying a pitcher of sweet iced tea. Being the country girl from Oklahoma that she is, you can bet Carrie had her porched decked out in the most country way possible.

On it are classic rocking chairs, metal benches, and a table set to hold plate after plate of desserts and pitchers of her favorite drink. Reportedly, Carrie had the final say on how the porch would look, and it’s fair to say that it reflects everything you’d expect from a country star.

The master suite

Like the personal gym, Carrie’s master suite is spacious but uncluttered. It looks absolutely amazing, and the windows allow sunlight to pour in and slowly coax her and her husband to wake up every morning. Despite the lavishness of the room, there’s something down-to-earth about the master suite. Perhaps it’s the simplistic crown molding or earthy hues.

The eye-drawing piece of this large room is the pink-and-cream-colored king-sized bed with more pillows than one might need. Imagine what it must feel like coming home from a concert or hockey game and allowing the bed to hug you to sleep. We’d never leave the room at all!

Extravagant dining experience

You can see that the family dining room follows the same pink-and-cream-colored themes as many other parts of Carrie’s former mansion. There’s also more space than a family of four might need for dining purposes, though we’re not surprised by the wide-open space for easy moving around and passing side dishes to one another.

At this very table, Carrie, Mike, and their two kids, Isaiah and Jacob, enjoyed homecooked meal after homecooked meal, sharing all kinds of stories and enjoying each other’s company. Being the super-busy mom and dad that they are, we think the four of them had more time to enjoy together outside of their home than in.

The family room

One glance into Carrie’s family den and our eyes are immediately drawn to the ornate, rounded couch. This is the room where Carrie and her family spend most of their downtime, enjoying each other’s company around a TV playing their favorite shows and movies in the background. We honestly expected to see a massive, 100-inch TV hanging on the wall, but perhaps it’s the people around you that entertain you the most.

That being said, we can’t imagine a better place to sit down with the family, turn on a movie, and munch on popcorn until the sun has long set. Carrie has expressed her guilty pleasure is enjoying horror flicks, with her favorite titles being Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween.

A personal spa

If you’re a multi-millionaire celebrity, why would you spend time and money visiting pricey spas when you can build your own at home? The master bathroom in Carrie’s old mansion is in line with Carrie’s taste of expansiveness with less cluttering. The huge bathtub looks more like a six-person jacuzzi than a place for a single person to enjoy an hour-long soak.

That’s pretty much what the centerpiece of this bathroom-spa is. The jetted bathtub shoots bubbles from all directions, gently massaging your aching muscles while you lay your head back and relax. There’s even a blank wall on the far end of the bathtub where the new owner can install wide mirrors or a bench for getting dressed.

Lights and mirrors galore

But why would you need an additional mirror when there’s already a wide sheet of it on the left upon expansive spa? You can tell by how overly lavish this bathroom is that Carrie and her husband place significance on the importance of personal hygiene and well-being.

There’s enough countertop space in the bathroom to satisfy women with the most high-maintenance makeup and hair-styling routines. We can’t imagine a better place to start your day in the morning and end it in the evening. A soak in the tub will remove all of the stress and anxiety from your day-to-day.

The blue guest room

Inside of the seven-time Grammy Award winner’s former mansion is three guestrooms that put most master suits to shame. The first guest room has a soft-blue theme with a staggered ceiling that adds a bit of flair to the room’s overall appearance. The window is strategically placed to allow morning sunlight to pour in through the curtains to wake her guests up.

There’s a story-book charm to the mixture of dark and light hues in this guest room, further emphasized by the velvet and satin sheets. What’s most surprising is that all three guestrooms were designed and decorated by the country singer herself.

The berry-colored guest room

The second guestroom has a completely different theme to it than the first. Instead of the soft-blue and olive-green hues, this one has a strawberry-red theme, as you can see from the colors of the window curtains to the bedsheets. The wooden bedframe makes the room feel more rustic than the first but no less extravagant.

There aren’t decorative wall fixtures, but there’s a handy nightstand for guests to leave their personal belongings on before hitting the hay. We’re shocked that guests haven’t attempted to overstay their welcome in the Underwood estate, judging by the comfort and welcoming nature of the guestrooms.

Pampering the guests

Unwritten southern law dictates that the homeowner makes their guests as comfortable as possible, and Carrie has definitely succeeded in that department. Although the guest bathrooms aren’t as decadent as the master bathroom, it comes with hotel-esque amenities like a shower with sliding glass panels, a super-wide counter, and a mirror tall enough for Shaq to see the top of his head.

The marble countertop with dark wood cabinetry is the most eye-pleasing features in the guest bathrooms. They provide a formal look to the bathrooms that scream out a welcoming elegance to the room where you need the most privacy.

Spiral staircase

Carrie had a walk-in-closet fit for a queen. The wasn’t just a single spacious room lined with enough racks for all of the shoes you could dream of. It consisted of two floors with an elegant spiral stairway that connected the two areas together.

This photograph shows what the wardrobe room’s bottom floor looked like. Upon descending into the room, you’re met with a makeup area with super-bright lights, wide mirrors, and even couches for guests (or in Carrie’s case, makeup and hair stylists) to relax. This is where the Country Music Award host spent countless hours trying on different outfits.

Walking into the walk-in closet

The upper floor of the two-floor walk-in closet was where Carrie kept all of her clothes, shoes, and accessories. It’s not hard to see how Carrie maintained an impeccable outfit every time she stepped outside of her mega-mansion. Her closet could house more clothes than the average LA apartment could.

With hanging shelves, cubbies, and drawers on three of the four walls, this walk-in closet could hold onto more than Carrie could ever wear in an entire year. Plus, you can see Carrie’s perfectionist side from the décor of this closet. With storage compartments everywhere, this room is an organizer’s dream.

Shoes, shoes, and more shoes

But there’s a lot more to the walk-in closet than meets the eye. A beautiful alcove in the closet was dedicated to Carrie’s hundreds upon hundreds of pairs of shoes and more accessories than anyone could count. These are the exact same shelves and racks where Carrie placed her Georges Chakra minis that she loved ever-so-much.

Carrie’s style changed over the last 15 years when she was first catapulted to stardom. She sported everyday jeans and t-shirts before the money came rolling in. Today, she’s covered in name-brand clothes and dons super-pricey gowns fit for a country queen. Whatever she wore, she looked fantastic.

The fab life

Let’s take a quick moment to look in awe at the first floor of Carrie’s old two-story walk-in closet. From this angle, you can see how vast the room truly is and how impactful that spiral staircase was at pulling off a grandeur look. On the far end of the first-floor entrance is the famous shoe alcove.

We can see from this vantage point that Carrie’s undying love for perfect organization also played a role in this room’s layout. Each section of the room had a distinct purpose. She maintained her discipline and organization while glamming up and getting ready for a night outdoors.

Overlooking a golf course

Carrie’s former Brentwood estate was situated next door to a golf course. It provided the perfect backdrop for her old estate, along with the rolling Tennessee hills and city skyline in the distance. The openness of her estate provided a certain level of privacy that, sadly, she couldn’t maintain for very long.

The Jesus, Take the Wheel singer expressed in interviews that she values her privacy and time with family more than anything else. She admitted to being quite reserved, which is a surprise, seeing as how comfortable she is performing on stage. Still, she preferred the quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of the Hollywood scene.

Knock, knock, knocking on heaven’s gates

As for the entrance to the first floor, Carrie and guests would make their way through rustic wooden doors that matched the look and feel of the spiral centerpiece. However, the rest of the glamorous dressing room screamed out more than just efficiency. The 15 AMA winner embraced the vast closet space by implementing touches here and there that made the room more suited to her feminine power.

Carrie works in an industry that’s predominantly run by men, which can be a challenge to a southern girl who was hoping to make it big. But Carrie is tougher than her 5-foot-3 stature makes her appear.

Table hockey, anyone?

Since Mike was a former NHL player, it’s only befitting that the game room has an air hockey table for the entire family to enjoy. Initially, the family was contemplating putting in an actual hockey rink on their estate, but it wouldn’t match the country theme that they were aiming for. So, a portable hockey table was the perfect compromise.

Carrie left the designing the decorating of the game room to her husband, which is apparent by the absence of frills, decorative fixtures, and soft hues. This was a space for the men and boys to rumble and tumble, express their inner machoman, and let the kids be kids.

Tranquility

It’s astounding to see how a simple color scheme can make a room look excessive yet simple at the same time. Without a touch of color, you can bet that the value of this 7,083-square-foot estate wouldn’t be at the level it was when she sold her mansion. The soft browns and creams produce an unexpected stylishness and tranquility that’s apparent from photographs.

After selling her home, Carrie stated in an interview that she and her husband will continue to do the best they can to move forward with whatever circumstances they’re given. She further explained that the two of them have been blessed with so much, both professionally and personally, that they have to remind themselves to step back and be grateful for what they have.

Outdoor entertainment

What kind of southern home would it be if the estate didn’t come with an outdoor entertainment area for guests? In Carrie’s backyard was a fire pit centerpiece with ornate metal chairs and tables for visitors to sit back and relax a few brewskis. Unlike other music mega stars in the industry, Carrie disclosed that her company includes normal, down-to-earth people.

The Good Girl singer said in an interview that her nearest and dearest friends have no affiliation with Hollywood. She stays in the company of homemakers, small business owners, and even a baker who loves bringing her freshly baked goods when she visits. It doesn’t get more southern than that!

A mansion fit for a fairy tale

After looking at pictures of the inside of Carrie’s former mansion, it’s clear that she worked hard to design a home that was fit for a fairy tale princess (or country music queen). Looking at the home from outside, the architecture transitions seamlessly from traditional to modern. The gray roof with bright-colored bricks give off old castle-y vibes, which are much different from what we’ve seen from the inside.

The landscaping also adds a bit of charm to the admittedly-dull-looking exterior of the home, making it appear more inviting from a distance. Carrie claimed that she opted for a minimalistic exterior with a simple yet lavish look upon entering through the front door.

Feeling betrayed

Carrie and Mike had made a decision prior to selling their home in 2019 that they needed to move. She and her husband loved what they’d built together, but with age comes a yearning for a change of scenery. They decided that their Brentwood estate would go up for sale, and they wouldn’t look back.

One factor that played a tremendous role in this decision was the betrayal of her neighbors. Many of those she trusted in the area had sold her address out to fans and paparazzi, and they would swarm the perimeter of her 7,803-square-foot estate in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the country music star.

The fall

In late-2017, Carrie experienced a life-changing fall that solidified her decision to move out. While trying to ascend one of the staircases in her home, she accidentally missed a step and went tumbling down. She immediately disclosed her accident to fans when irresponsible talk-show hosts claimed that her “deformed” face was the result of plastic surgery gone wrong.

At the time, her then-toddler son, Isaiah, was fast asleep in the nursery, while her husband was out of town. She had to call for backup in order to get to the hospital safely. There, she was given up to 50 stitches and treated for a broken wrist.

Before the mansion

Before her Brentwood mansion came tino existence, Carrie’s starter home was a smaller version of the posh estate she would call home for 10-plus years. She purchased a home at the heart of country music in Nashville, Tennessee, which was the ideal place to launch her music career.

Her first home included three bedrooms and 3-1/2 bathrooms. She purchased the home from her American Idol earnings and immediately began giving it personal touches here and there, similar to what she’d do to her mansion in later years. She lived there for a couple of years before relocating to her Brentwood estate.

Building from the foundation

After selling their property in Brentwood, Carrie and Mike decided that they’d build a home from scratch. Perhaps the traumatic fall in 2017 was the driving force behind this decision, or maybe it was because she longed for a larger family. Whatever the reason, the couple purchased a 1,000-acre ranch in Nashville.

We don’t doubt that her new home is just as minimalistic as her former mansion. In an interview, Carrie stated that the only must-haves for her ranch include rocking chairs surrounding a fireplace. That sounds just about right for a girl with country roots, but we think that her walk-in closet will be more spacious than before.

Wedding bells

Carrie first met her future husband backstage when her bassist played matchmaker. From the get-go, the two clicked, and it was only a matter of time before the church bells would start ringing. Carrie stated in an interview that her first reaction upon seeing Mike was that he was “hot, hot, hot.”

As for Mike, he was no less drawn to Carrie’s appearance than she was to his. He’s repeatedly stated in interviews that Carrie is one of the most beautiful people he’s ever met, but her beauty is much more than skin-deep. Due to their busy schedules, they didn’t have a lot of time to spend together. In 2009, Mike popped the question, and a year later, they were already husband and wife.

From the US to Canada and back

While Carrie is a country girl through and through, she’s learned to live the Canadian life as well. Her husband is a Canadian native who played for both the Ottawa Senators and the Nashville Predators. Because his playing schedule forced him to fly from to and from Canada, Carrie felt it was best to purchase a place in Ottawa that they could call home.

Their home in Canada kept Mike close to his family and friends and also gave Carrie a chance to get to know those who meant most to her NHL player husband. Their living situation posed certain challenges, but the two vowed to spend as much time as possible. This means Mike would come along when Carrie toured the country.

In come the awards

After winning the fourth season of American Idol by a landslide, Carrie would go on to build a name for herself in the music industry. Throughout her career, she would win 15 AMAs, 11 Grammys, and take home 11 Billboard Music Awards. The only question was whether or not she would have enough space in her home for all of the trophies and plaques.

Carrie would release her first Christmas album in the fall of 2020 titled My Gift. Her seventh album featured legendary music artist John Legend in the song Hallelujah. She even let sang alongside Isaiah in their mom-and-son take on the classic The Little Drummer Boy.

Putting family first

Experiencing so much success in a dog-eat-dog industry could go to anybody’s head but not Carrie’s. Despite her busy schedule, she always makes time to spend with her family, which she calls her greatest success of all time. The I Am Second miniseries featured a segment where the couple, who were notorious for maintaining their privacy, disclosed the sorts of ups and downs they experienced together.

Even with all of the roadblocks in their way, the Fisher clan remains as tight-knit as any family could be. When their second son, Jacob, was born, Carrie and Mike released the statement: “Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…”

Always giving back

Carrie’s generosity knows no bounds. It shines the brightest when a certain cause catches her eye. The long-time borderline vegan and animal activist created the Checotah Animal, Town, and School Foundation, a.k.a. C.A.T.S. This non-profit organization helps with a number of issues in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma, including providing shelter for strays and helping aspiring musicians realize their potential.

Other philanthropic efforts include assisting Habitat for Humanity, The Red Cross, and PETA. She received the Artist Humanitarian Award in 2014 for her exceptionally long list of humanitarian efforts. However, the awards don’t mean a thing to the country singer. What truly satisfies her is helping wherever she can.

The star shines on

The future shines bright for the American Idol winner who took the entire fourth season by storm from the moment she stepped on the big stage. She’s earning more than a person needs for multiple lifetimes, has the never-ending love and support from her (hopefully growing) family, and landed endorsement deals with countless popular brands.

Her latest business interests include fitness and well-being. She has her own fitness app, a cookbook, and who knows what else is in the works. By this time next year, there’s no telling what sort of achievements the 38-year-old country singer will have.

Hollywood Walk of Fame

In 2018, Carrie received one of the most prestigious awards a person in the entertainment world can receive: her very own tile in Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. She’s the 2,464^th star to have her own tile, which is placed in front of the historic Capitol Records Building on N. Vine Street.

There to talk about her achievements was none other than Simon Cowell, the judge who gave Carrie resounding praise in each and every episode of American Idol season 4. She received the award with a tearful acceptance speech where she gave thanks to all of those who believed in her and highlighting her loyal fans.

Shining light on Puerto Rico

In 2020, Carrie’s close friend, She Bangs’ singer Rick Martin, started a fundraising event to shed light on the mistreatment of his countrymen in Puerto Rico. This was done in light of a series of earthquakes that ravaged the country, to which the local government responded by hardly lifting a finger. He sold t-shirts online, with the proceeds going to the organizations that helped the cause. He topped the efforts off with an outstanding performance.

Upon learning what he was doing, Carrie was quick to hop onto social media and ask for further support. She reached out to her over-10-million followers to purchase a t-shirt and donate whatever they could for the cause.

Amazing act after amazing act

Every time she took the stage, she wowed audiences on the set of American Idol and at home. The judges were even more taken aback by how powerful the 5-foot-3 country girl could sing. Carrie nailed every performance, and it was clear from Simon’s praise that she would go far in the contest.

There was something about the Oklahoman native that made people gravitate to her. Perhaps it was her down-to-earth personality, which she retained throughout her professional career. Whatever it was, it was working for her. It was only a matter of time before she’d ultimately be crowned the season four winner.

Where it all started

We’re astounded by Carrie’s transformation over the past 15 years or so. Her inevitable rise to fame started when she auditioned for the fourth season of American Idol. There, she demonstrated her mesmerizing vocals by singing Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me. After passing to the second phase, she delivered a flawless performance of Tiffany’s Could’ve Been. Panelist Simon Cowell told her from the start that she’d always be one of his favorites.

Carrie was just 21 years old when she auditioned and wowed the judges with her voice. Nobody foresaw a future of glitz and glamor for the Checotah native, least of all Carrie herself.

Season four winner

After winning the contest, one of the show’s producers said in an interview that Carrie had dominated the voting booths from day one. Week after week, she’d receive more votes than the second-most-voted contestant by a wide margin.

Not only did she knock out her opponents one after the other, but she would also become the best-selling American Idol winner of all time. Upon winning American Idol, she took home a cash money prize of over a million dollars (which went into purchasing her home in Nashville), as well as unlimited use of a private jet for 12 months, and a Ford Mustang. Not too shabby for a country girl with her sights on stardom.

Trying her hand at acting

Carrie isn’t a one-trick pony who can wow audiences with her amazing vocals. She tried her hand at acting and had a moderately successful career. Her debut performance was on CBS’ How I Met Your Mother, where she played Tiffany, a medical sales rep who kept Ted hooked, just in case.

The episode received average ratings, despite being the second highest-rated episode of the show’s fifth season. However, critics weren’t sold on the idea of Carrie’s acting skills, but they also blamed the episode’s scriptwriters for coming up with less-than-funny material. This didn’t deter the country music-star-turned-actress. A year later, she’d try her hand at acting in films.

Her silver screen debut

In 2011, Carrie made her silver screen debut in Soul Surfer, a biographical film about surfer Bethany Hamilton and her journey as a surfer after losing an arm following a traumatic shark attack. Carrie played the role of Tiffany, a minor character in the overall story line. The film did well, grossing over $10 million in the box office, but it was met with lukewarm reviews.

Her debut in acting in movies wasn’t the experience she expected, and she knew she could do more. Even though her acting wasn’t that big of an issue in Soul Surfer’s cold reviews, Carrie was determined to make a name for herself in acting.

The Sound of Music

Carrie’s third and most recent acting gig was playing Maria von Trapp in The Sound of Music! TV special. People were skeptical of Carrie’s acting abilities, but they were certain that she’d nail the musical parts. And she did with resounding success.

However, the critics’ fears of Carrie’s acting performance played out to be true. At times, she seemed uncomfortable and out of her element. They praised her amazing vocals (as everyone did), but her portrayal of the classic character was unconvincing. To date, this was Carrie’s final attempt at acting. She’s set her sights on greener pastures, though we hope to see her make a comeback in acting.

The animal activist

Anyone who knows the least about Carrie Underwood will know that she loves animals. In the past, she’s made huge donations to both HSUS and PETA. In fact, a lot of what she does on both social media and real life is centered around raising awareness of inhumane animal treatment.

However, her involvement in certain animal support groups has placed a target on her head. A lot of her fans are country music lovers from the south, most of whom don’t have the same affection for animals. Unfortunately, her efforts in saving animals have rubbed some fans the wrong way.

Carrie the author

As stated earlier, Carrie’s latest passion is centered on fitness and well-being. One of her most recent ventures is authoring her own book, which she did in early 2020. Find Your Path is a book about how anyone can stay strong and fit by following her simple yet effective exercise program.

It was also the perfect way to promote her health app, Fit52. The book and the app are based on how we can stay physically fit for 52 weeks of the year. While the book didn’t receive the ratings she was looking for, the app was a major success.

Rated World’s Sexiest Vegan by PETA

Even though PETA is mainly about shining light on the unethical treatment of animals, they also have popularity contests where they rate celebrity vegans by their looks. We’re not totally on board with this, but hey, to each their own. Carrie won the award for the sexiest vegan by PETA followers in 2018, alongside Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin.

Carrie’s journey to borderline veganism started at the age of 13 years old when she vowed to never eat beef. Since then, she evolved into a full-fledged vegetarian, only eating the eggs from her chicken coop. We’re not sure whether that qualifies someone as vegan, but we’re not one to judge.

Sunday Night Football

In 2013, Faith Hill passed the torch to sing the intro of Sunday Night Football to Carrie Underwood. Since then, she’s been gracing our TV screens every Sunday before NFL games. Faith Hill congratulated the American Idol winner and faith that she would “rock it’ night after night.

Sports enthusiasts could also catch glimpses of Carrie in other events. She sang the national anthem for the NHL’s Nashville Predators before important games. She performed for the home crowd on the night the Predators won the playoffs when they bulldozed over the Winnipeg Jets in 2018. Carrie was also the performer at NASCAR, Superbowl XLIV, and an NFC championship game.

Cry Pretty Tour 360 in 2019

Carrie’s sixth and most recent tour was in 2019. The Cry Pretty 360 tour promoted her sixth album, Cry Pretty, which sold over 870,000 copies since its release. Cry Pretty was certified platinum in February of 2020. The tour started in Greensboro, North Carolina, extended all the way to Europe (England, Wales, Scotland, and England again), then ended on Halloween day in Detroit, Michigan.

Every night, she managed to perform in front of sold out crowds of over 11,000 people. The tour grossed over $50 million and was also a way for Carrie to announce to her fans that she was pregnant with Jacob.

64 million records sold

To date, Carrie has sold over 64 million records around the world, making her one of the top best-selling artists of the 2000s. Rolling Stone named Carrie the best digital artist of country music, after Before He Cheats and Little Toy Guns racked up RIAA accolades.

Despite her success and the fortune that it brought her, she’s as down-to-earth as anyone. She spends a majority of her time with her husband and two sons, and makes an effort to help the community in any way she can. Sure, she splurges on name-brand clothes and mansions, but hey, she deserves it!

A perfectionist’s touch

Even though Carrie appears as chill as any country singer could be, she’s actually a self-proclaimed perfectionist in everything she does. We’re not surprised, seeing as how every endeavor she takes almost always ends in success. This includes decorating her kitchen’s layout, a spacious area that screams Carrie and country from every corner. Not a single chair or cabinet door appears out of place.

Carrie admits that she satisfies her inner-perfectionist in the kitchen. All of the food inside of her fridge is painstakingly labeled and organized, reflecting her discipline. We wouldn’t be surprised at all if her husband and kids were taught to label and organize just as she does.
