A 9.28 μC point charge is at the center of a cube with sides of length 0.515 m .
What is the electric flux through one of the six faces of the cube?
How would your answer to part A change if the sides were of length 0.225 m ?Explain.
Gauss’s Law in Electrostatics says that the outward total flux flowing through a surface is the sum of the charge that is enclosed by the surface multiplied by the reciprocal permittivity of free space. The electric flux is the quantity of electrical field lines that flow normaly towards the surface.
